• 5 dl water
  • 50 g yeast
  • 1,5 tbsp Psyllium
  • 0,5 dl or 70 g light syrup
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 tsp salt
  • 500 g (8,5 dl) Finax Glutenfri Mjölmix or Glutenfri Lågprotein mjölmix
  • 200 g (3,5 dl) Finax Grov Mjölmix


Recipe for delicious bagels - with cream cheese you´ll have a delightful lunch! Yields about 12 pcs.

This is how you do:

  1. Dissolve the yeast together with Psyllium in the luke warm water (37º C) and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix in the remaining ingredients, but leave a side a little flour mix for working the dough.
  3. Mix the dough thoroughly using a machine for about 5 minutes.
  4. Leave the dough to rest under a damp cloth for 20 minutes.
  5. Then divide the dough into 12 equal size pieces and shape them into bagels by rolling into logs (about 2 cm diameter) and joining the ends.
  6. Put a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray and place the bagels on it before leaving to raise for about 30 minutes.
  7. Bring water to a boil in a big pot. Boil each bagel in the water for 1 minute on either side before placing them back onto the baking tray. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or sunflower seeds if you wish.
  8. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes at 225º C.
  9. Leave the finished bagels to cool on a grill to allow airflow.
