Flaxseed bread


  • 5 dl water
  • 0,5 dl buckwheat
  • 0,5 dl flaxseed
  • 20 g yeast
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 dl sunflower seeds
  • 420 g Lågprotein Mjölmix

Flaxseed bread

Linseed and sunflower – perfect for bread baking!

this is how you do:

  1. Pour 5 dl. boiling water over the flaxseeds and sunflower seeds and leave to sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Dissolve the yeast and add brown sugar, salt and olive oil. Keep stirring until the salt and sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add sunflower seeds and flour – little by little. Then leave the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Place the dough into a greased bread baking form (1½ l). Use a spatula and a little water to smoothen out the bread surface.
  5. Leave to rise under a damp cloth for approx. 40 minutes.
  6. Carefully apply olive oil onto the top of the bread with a brush before baking at 200° C for about 30 minutes.
