Swedish Hastkaka


  • 4 dl Finax Grov Glutenfri Mjölmix (200 g)
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 2 tsp baking power
  • 75 g margarine
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 egg
  • 1,5 dl water
  • 3 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 3 tbsp pearl sugar

Swedish Hastkaka

A simple gluten free soft cake – perfect for your afternoon coffee guests!

This is how you do:

  1. Set the oven to 200º C. Grease a 1 ½ l. baking form.
  2. Mix flour mix, sugar, baking powder and cardamom together and then add in the margarine evenly.
  3. Add egg and water and stir thoroughly till even.
  4. Pour the dough into the greased baking form.
  5. Drizzle sugar granules and chopped almond on top.
  6. Bake in the lower part of the oven for about 30 minutes.
  7. Leave the freshly baked cake to cool a bit in the baking form before turning it out to cool completely.
