Vanilla Roll Cake


  • 3 eggs
  • 1,5 dl sugar
  • 0,5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 dl strawberry jam (or other jam/marmelade)
  • 0,5 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 90 g (about 1,5 dl) Finax glutenfri Mjölmix or Finax Lågprotein mjölmix

Vanilla Roll Cake

You can´t go wrong with roll cake. This easy recipe is guaranteed to bring joy!

This is how you do:

  1. Set your oven at 200º C.
  2. Beat egg and sugar together until light and airy.
  3. Mix together the flour mix, baking powder and vanilla sugar – then add in the egg/sugar mix. Mix together into a smooth dough.
  4. Spread out the dough into a wide baking tray and bake in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes.
  5. Place the baked cake base on a baking sheet covered with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  6. Let the cake base cool down before covering it with the strawberry jam and rolling it up into a roll cake log.


  • Cut the log roll into slices. Add a generous topping of whipped cream and decorate with fresh berries or fruit of your choice.
